Estudio de comportamiento en la lactancia materna

Se ha realizado una revisión aleatoria de una serie de mujeres que acuden a las consultas de ginecología de un grupo de centros sanitarios durante los últimos 10 años. Se pretende conocer sus comportamientos frente a la lactancia natural y la influencia que ejerce sobre la edad, el tipo de parto y el trabajo; las actitudes y argumentos para no iniciarla y para suspenderla y las preferencias por los métodos anticonceptivos. Se comparan los datos obtenidos con una serie histórica obtenida 60 años antes en el mismo medio.
Study of behavior in maternal breastfeeding
By means of a random study of a group of patients over the last ten years an attempt has been made to understand their behaviour with regard to breastfeeding and the influence of age, work and birth-way. Their attitudes towards breastfeeding and their reasons for not starting or stopping as well as their preferred methods of contraception were all considered. Comparation with one historic group was made (60 years previously).
