Ante el quincuagésimo aniversario de la publicación de un ambicioso empeño: El niño en la cultura española. Que no habite el olvido

El próximo año 2010 se cumplirán 50 años de la publicación, en la imprenta de los Talleres Penitenciarios de Alcalá de Henares, del extenso libro –en cuatro volúmenes– escrito por el pediatra sevillano Juan Luis Morales González, titulado El Niño En La Cultura Española (ante La Medicina y otras Ciencias; La Historia, Las Letras, Las Artes y Las Costumbres). Parece oportuno conmemorar dicho aniversario, describiendo sus características, señalando su peculiaridad, efectuando una contextualizadora valoración crítica y remarcando, por último, su enorme trascendencia para la historiografía pediátrica española.
Consideration on the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of an ambitious endeavor: El niño en la cultura española. That it does not fall into oblivion
In the year 2010, 50 years will have passed since the publication in the press of the Hospital Workshops of Alcala de Henares of the extensive book- in four volumes, written by the Sevillian pediatrician Juan Luis Morales González, entitled: El Niño En La Cultura Española ante La Medicina y otras Ciencias; La Historia, Las Letras, Las Artes y Las Costumbres). [The Child in the Spanish Culture in view of Medicine and other Sciences; History, Literature, Arts and Customs].
It seems to be pertinent to commemorate this anniversary, describing its characteristics, and indicating its characteristics, making a critical context evaluation and finally, stressing its enormous importance for the Spanish pediatric historiography.
