El Memorial Guillermo Arce se celebra desde 1988, para recordar la figura de este maestro de la pediatría española y reunir a sus discípulos. El contenido científico de la reunión es cada año más amplio y ambicioso. A partir de 1996, tras el fallecimiento del Profesor Ernesto Sánchez Villares, el Memorial cambia de denominación y pasa a llamarse ?Memorial Guillermo Arce - Ernesto Sánchez Villares?. Se revisan en este artículo los programas de los Memoriales celebrados hasta la fecha. También se repasan los Premios de Nutrición Infantil de igual denominación desde el comienzo de su concesión, en 1979. Abstract The Guillermo Arce Memorial commemorative act has taken place since 1988, to recall the figure of this great authority of the spanish pediatrics and to bring together his followers. The scientific content of the meeting is wider and more ambitious each year. After the death of Professor Ernesto Sánchez Villares in 1996, the Memorial changed its name and it is now called the ?Guillermo Arce-Ernesto Sánchez Villares Memorial?. This article reviewes the programs of the Memorials which have been celebrated to now. It also revises the Pediatrics Nutrition Awards since the beginning of their presentation, in 1979.
